Yanaka Ginza is a beautiful area that is a slower pace, very authentic, and less crowded than other tourist spots in Tokyo. The Claymore is a neighbourhood gem that must be tracked down. The owner is friendly and warm and the bar is filled with regulars. It’s a small cozy bar that has great curated snacks from all over Japan and the whiskey selection especially is personally curated and tasted by the owner. There is also house made craft soda that tastes amazing! Please stop by and have a drink and a chat with this man that has a wealth of knowledge of Japan and drinks and sailing! I had a lovely evening here. If you are around in the area, don't miss this little gem. The owner is very friendly, speaks a bit of English and will introduce you to some great Japanese whisky (or other cocktails if you prefer). Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
