I would like to start this review by expressing my long-standing support for The Depot and Clemente's establishment over the years. In the past, I have enjoyed the food and friendly conversations at this restaurant. However, I have noticed some changes in the quality of the food recently. The flavor of the sauce has been altered, with a slight spiciness that was not present before. Additionally, the raviolis have been somewhat chewy in texture. Despite these issues, my family and I remained loyal customers due to our desire to support local businesses. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been less than satisfactory. On multiple occasions, Clemente's daughter, who now manages takeout orders, has attempted to upsell additional items such as bread and salad that we did not request. Even after declining these offers, we were again pressured to purchase them when picking up our food. Furthermore, we were asked for tips when paying in cash, which made us feel uncomfortable. For example, my daughter was given $9 in change and instead of returning the money, she was asked if it could be kept as a tip. This made her feel awkward so she agreed to let her put them money in the tip jar. Overall, these experiences have left me feeling like I am viewed as just a source of income when visiting the restaurant. While I understand the importance of a business making a profit, I believe it is equally important to prioritize customer satisfaction and not solely focus on maximizing revenue. I hope that these issues can be addressed to ensure that all customers feel valued and respected when visiting the establishment. After decades of faithful business to Clemente, we will now be visiting Lawler's for our malfotti and ravioli takeout.

I'm not sure why this place is so highly rated. Maybe it's based on the original place. But we ordered takeout and honestly, it was disgusting. It was only spaghetti with meat sauce and I've never tasted anything like it. How you get what they serve from tomatoes, ground beef and herbs is beyond me. Maybe the meat was bad, I don't know. But it was inedible. And the ravioli was so salty I couldn't let my kids eat it either. Just beware if you've never eaten here before, it's not what you'd expect.

Please go support our local Clementes! They are waiting for a permanent location at the moment but for right now, you can still purchase their delicious takeout from their Industrial Way location. Their prices may be a bit higher (whose aren't) than the 'other' place, but as we Italians say, "It's all in the sauce aka sugo)". There is NO comparison! , Clementes is the best!! Good family!
