Delicious food, classy setting, friendly staff and very relaxed atmosphere in the spacious open air pergola where we enjoyed the warm and sunny weather. We had a great time at The Clermont, as per usual.

Had dinner in the Cleremont with my wife last night. The restaurant decor is fabulous. After being seated I had to ask 3 different members of staff for some water. The staff seem very unorganised and very difficult to get their attention. I had prawns to start, they were fine but seriously overpriced at €14 for the portion size, even if €8 to €9 I’d be questioning it. We both had the special which was hake, the fish was dry and overcooked as were some of the prawns that came with the dish. Whoever is in charge of the background music needs sacking, pumping dance music for the duration of our stay. Terrible. We were both so looking forward to our visit but came away so disappointed. Overpriced, noisy with chefs that need to up their game. The wine selection wasn’t great either, 4 white wines by the glass yet two of them sav blanc? The place looks great though!! We won’t be back.
