Outraged, I ask for a baguette that I want to pay for by card, the saleswoman tells me that the card starts at €2.50. I explain to her that unfortunately I don't have change and says, I quote, "make an effort, take me another one." thing "a real scandal to force the hands of customers like that.. I was about to leave when the saleswoman stopped me saying "come back you can pay by card" such practices are shameful especially in times of crisis like this I do not believe it
