As a vegetarian married to a kosher meat eater, I want to love Clover, but am disappointed every time. The food is always slow to arrive, yet ice cold when it does. Pitas seemingly taken right out of the fridge, served alongside piles of cold premade slop, some of which is inedible. I also find that there is no way to tell, based on their very vague menu, what I will actually be receiving. I feel like it used to be much tastier -- not sure what happened! Lovely food and very kind staff! Last week I ordered a blueberry lemonade and zucchini sandwich at the Financial District location, but they had just sold out of zuke sandwiches. They credited me back, then surprised me by offering to make one anyway, subbing out the tofu since they were out of that. Such a nice surprise! The sandwich was fantastic, a party in my mouth ;-) So glad Clover isn't closing, and for serving food that's local, seasonal, and so good! Food: 5 Service: 5
