Canny little spot this, friendly attentive staff. Food is home cooked, from our experience and some care is taken around this. Good selection ofcakes/pies for desert. Very reasonable in price overall when compared to chain restaurants or takeaways. Well worth a visit and a little bit quirky. Oh dear. Well, your staff are just lovely. Three stars just for them. One of the friendliest welcomes I’ve encountered anywhere. But congrats for inventing the worst steak pie in scotland: one wee square of pastry afloat like the raft of the medusa on a sea of lumpy grey-brown slop. the weirdly multi-coloured chips looked to be the veterans of several campaigns. None of you would eat that tasteless muck at home; why are you serving it here?
