We enjoyed their savory omelettes! The servings were generous and flavorful.  The waiter was attentive and friendly.  We appreciated that they had an English menu!

Superb!!!!! The food tasted like heaven. And the service was great. If there is a line, it is absolutely worth the wait!!!! And the line moved very quickly.   I had the Country Breakfast....the sauce on the eggs was out of this world!!! I recommend with 5 stars!!!

We went for lunch on a Sunday. We had made a reservation the day before. On arrival there was a line up. People were waiting and hanging around the entrance. There was a lot of confusion, we didn't know where to wait and felt quite in the way of other guests and servers, since there was no defined waiting space. We gave our names and mentioned we had a reservation. We still had to wait about 15 minutes for our table to be ready, but at least the hostess seemed concerned and showed us she didn't forget about us. The person who showed us to our seats put the menus on the table and left. Our table was close to the kitchen and there was a nasty burnt smell in the air. We had to wait for our server to come greet us and give us water. He wasn't the most sympathetic waiter I've met. We learned that one of the menus given was the wrong one and that the full menu wasn't available. We chose the Cochon Dingue style waffle, the seafood pot pie, the egg benedict and the steak frites. The Cochon Dingue style waffle was a deception: the menu said "filled with mushrooms, ham, bacon, sausages" etc., leading us to expect tasty and juicy morsels to chew on but the meat was actually tiny pieces hidden in a massive amount of dough. The egg on top looked lost in a sea of dough... The egg benedict was good, a classic well prepared dish. The side potatos were a little cold.   The seafood pot pie was another deception: for 25.95$ we expected a pot loaded with  seafood, but there were more potato cubes than anything else. The sauce was good, thick and creamy but the dish clearly lacked in the fish and seafood department. It came with a refreshing salad. As for the steak, it was a nice cut of entrecôte, cooked medium rare as requested and which tasted great but could have had more flavour. I asked that the fries be well cooked and they came exactly that way: crisp and tasty. I wasn't offered a choice of mayo as mentioned in the menu. The steak plate was a good pick although I find that for 24$ they could have added a side salad. All in all the food isn't bad but for the prices they charge we expected fuller and higher quality plates, and a server a little less indifferent. There has been a lot of hype around this restaurant since its opening and maybe they got a little used to it and forgot about maintaining their high standards...too bad.
