Came here for a lovely Father’s Day meal and was sadly disappointed. The service was below average, no members of staff asked about allergies or intolerances, upon requesting sauce, the waiter left to get it and never came back. Half of the menu was not available, despite the pub not being busy at all. The food we did order was not as advertised - it was dry and flavourless, with a few items missing from what was described on the menu. The desert we ordered was also not available but was not told upon ordering, was simply swapped to a different item without any of the staff making us aware. The desert we did order was cold and flavourless. Despite this, the interior and exterior were lovely, well decorated and provided a nice atmosphere. While the staff were polite, they rarely approached the table and gave no apologies for the missing items and orders arriving wrong. Sadly will not be visiting again. Price per person: £40–50 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2

We held my mum’s 80th birthday celebration at The Cock Inn, Headley, and it was absolutely perfect from start to finish. The staff were exceptional – attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming throughout the entire evening. Nothing was too much trouble and the service was faultless. The buffet food was excellent and beautifully presented, and the whole night ran so smoothly that we could simply relax and enjoy the celebration. A wonderful venue with a brilliant team – we couldn’t have asked for more. Price per person: £10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

My 1st visit but excellent menu, especially for those with dietary requirements. Staff very helpful & knowledgable. Very clean & tidy premises and grounds. Really dog friendly. Perfect for a Sunday lunch after a walk on the Heath
