Having recently been rated one of the best places to eat in Valencia by Condé Nast ,no mean feat in this food town ,we were happy to book a table Friday for a late lunch. We were even happier once the dishes began to arrive. The quality of the ingredients , the care and imagination in the kitchen and the warm. service by chef/ front of house and owner Adria Ingles made for a memorable meal in a city where you can eat well. The standouts were the amazing cauliflower in gochujang , the crunchy sweetbreads glazed in tangy Bbq sauce and the thinly sliced duck usuzukuri ....amazing.. My allergies to shrimp meant that my wife had the beautifully plated scallop ceviche and the cuttlefish gyozas to herself ... much to her enjoyment.... The selection of wine is carefully curated by Adria who has managed the feat of offering wonderful bottles at an extremely fair price point... 24 Euros and less for lip smacking wines his sommelier friends in Michelin starred restaurants count as their personal favorites for everyday drinking... He was very kind in letting me try several of them....The bottle of Albariño we ended up sharing was outstanding and a bargain to boot. I am certain that Cocleque will become one of our favorite spots here in Valencia and find itself in heavy rotation with the handful of restaurants we have come to love over the years we have visited the city...Highly recommended! Had an amazing dinner here, walked in and although there were mostly reserved tables they facilitated a place for us Meal type: Dinner Price per person: €30–40 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: Lots of options
