My wife and I were coming back from an event around 1am on a Monday, completely exhausted and so thirsty, and every store nearby was closed. We spotted this place still open and just needed a bottle of water. A staff member named Nelson helped us right away and got us the water we needed. When we went to pay, we found out it was cash only, and we didn't have any cash on us. Instead of just shrugging and letting us go, Nelson told us not to worry about it and gave us the water on the house. At 1am, exhausted and thirsty, that bottle of water felt like gold to us. It's rare these days to run into that kind of genuine kindness from a stranger, and Nelson didn't have to do what he did. We just want to publicly thank him for his hospitality that night. We are already big fans of Portuguese food, and after an experience like this, we will absolutely be back for a proper dinner soon. Thank you, Nelson, for reminding us that good people are still out there. Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

While walking around the neighborhood around lunch time we smelled delicious chicken from Rotisserie Coco Rico. We had to stop in! The two of us each got a chicken sandwich with pickles (one mild, one spicy with banana peppers), split an order of potatoes and each got one nata. The sandwiches were made with freshly made bread that was substantial enough to support the chicken but not too tough. The chicken was flavorful without being too greasy. The pickles were sharp and crisp and the pepper added flavor without being overly spicy. The side potatoes had a creamy texture with loads of flavor but not overly salty. The best part of the meal was the nata! They make the flakey crust and creamy center daily and have an optional dusting of cinnamon. After finishing our meal we got more to go. This was a nice quick stop in with bar seating available. I could see it being difficult to find a spot to sit if it's overly busy. The "spicy" sauce wasn't very spicy, but it was very tasty.
