While I didn't snag one of the window seats, the main room at Coco Bar is surprisingly comfortable even when busy. It's a really pleasant setting for a coffee break, with thoughtful decor and a generally good atmosphere despite the weekend crowd. I have walked past this spot for years and finally decided go stop in for happy hour. What a wonderful little spot! The area is touristy but the food certainly does not sacrifice quality. The cheese inside the giant quesadilla had the most brilliant texture, and ONE mezcalina got the job done. The heavily shaded outdoor patio was perfect for a summer afternoon. I’ll be back to try the other daily specials. Meal type: Other Price per person: $20–30 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Vegetarian menu or section

Loved the vibe at CocoBar on the Chicago Riverwalk! The Quesadilla was perfectly cheesy with fresh flavors, while the Churri Fries were absolutely addictive & crispy, warm, and the perfect sweet ending to our evening. The riverside atmosphere, Latin music, and relaxed patio setup make this place more than just a food stop it’s a whole Chicago experience. Definitely a must-visit for anyone exploring downtown Chicago! Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian offerings: Not sure
