To try perfectly cooked fish, pies and tamales is a really nice idea. You will like its food, particularly good cinnamon rolls. Taste great fresh juices, cortadito or fresh sugarcane juice, it's a must when visiting this bar.

They don’t sell cocaine haha. I tried Melanie’s apple sugarcane drink and it’s yummy. Nat made the drink and it’s super refreshing especially in these hot summer months. Highly recommend supporting this small shop. It’s has a Caribbean feel to its location with the greenery and birds. I just parked by the church and walked over because the entrance to Melanie’s shop is easy to miss. Melanie and Nat are personable and they take the time to get to know you. They’ve only been around for about 1.5 years so support them! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

Great spot for fresh pressed juice! I got the classic sugarcane juice and my boyfriend got the apple sugarcane juice. Both were delicious! We also tried the vegan chocolate chip cookie, which was served warm and also delicious. I highly recommend stopping by for a refreshing drink! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

CocoCane Shack is such a cute hidden gem tucked inside a small nursery! They have a great variety of sugarcane juice drinks and homemade pastries. We tried the Matcha Tea with Sugarcane Juice, and it was absolutely delicious: light, refreshing, and perfectly sweet. I wanted to try the Dulce de Leche dessert, but it was already sold out (next time!). The outdoor seating area is adorable, with beautiful greenery, a koi fountain, and a big fan that kept us cool in the afternoon heat. We walked through the nursery afterward and loved seeing the different varieties of plants, especially the huge selection of succulents and cacti! We even met Bah, the lovely elderly owner of Bah’s Nursery, who was hard at work despite the heat. Everyone working there was very friendly and welcoming. Such a peaceful and charming spot, we’ll definitely be back and highly recommend a visit. Meal type: Other Price per person: $1–10
