I understand that walking in on a Sunday afternoon at 5:26, when they close at 5:30, could be a bit annoying. I didn't realize that though, when I walked in today. We looked at the pastries for a moment, and then asked to purchase two pieces of cake, when the short haired woman gave us the "we are closed". I checked the time and it showed 5:30 and I realized we walked in just before closing. I asked her nicely if she could sell us two pieces of cake, to which she repeated in the exact same manner as before "we are closed" as if I wasn't the one she told that just a few seconds earlier. It's one thing to close early and not show the customer service dedication to still service me when I happened to walk in last minute, but treating me with such disrespect and in this demeaning way is just not right. I don't understand why someone would be like that. So I can't rate the food, because I wasn't given the opportunity to taste it, but service and atmosphere made me feel awful. Matcha is not pure matcha. It seems to be pre-sweetened. Extremely sweet and unable to reduce sugar. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4
