This spot is definitely one of my favorites in Latacunga, Ecuador. With the lights recently cutting off this place did not fail to satisfy my hunger nor fail to make me feel at home & when I say home, I mean Virginia, USA! I loved their filet mignon, I ordered it twice!! I loved the mashed potatoes that came with it!! So smooth, amazing!! The veggies were fresh and hot, they had a perfect crunch! The cheese sandwich just melted with every bite!l! Also ordered it twice! The Choc hot chocolate, was delicious and presentation wise, just beautiful!!! Their fruit bowls were great!! Their hoja de queso was the best I’ve tasted in all of Ecuador & last but not least, possibly the most important item I fell in love with, was their Morocho Empanadas. I ordered about 26 to take to Virginia. 5 STAR . Definitely going back!! Thank you so much for the polite and sweet service!! Coffee Roots was the cherry on top of a 7 day trip !!!
