Had a really pleasant visit at Coffee Shachu. I absolutely loved their toast and coffee set! simple, comforting, and very delicious. The café has a nice cosy vibe that makes it a great place to relax. I’m honestly not sure why some people mention rude service, my experience was perfectly fine and the staff were polite. The owner's face is as black as his coffee. He must have thought... Not another foreigner. (roll eye). Wanted to sit at the bar counter since I was alone, but was shoo-ed away by his Da me (cannot sit here) and gestured me to the table seats. I sat for quite awhile before the lady took my order. The butter toast and cafe au lait was delicious. Coffee was not too acidic and the milk was aromatic. No English menu. Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000 Food: 4 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 4

Such a cute coffee shop. Rather than making coffee like westerners do, they make siphon coffee. It was so good! We got the cutlet and cabbage sandwich, which came on some of the fluffiest bread I’ve ever eaten. Coffee was included. Coffee is not just a drink here but an event where you savor the flavor with friends or family. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: ¥1,000–2,000
