This cafe and Hakkei Tenso Shrine can be both really attractive for tourists. Offering nicely cooked boiled eggs, sandwiches and kacamak is the unique characteristic of Coffee Tei Rouen. Get your meal started with good white coffee.

My first coffee in Tokyo, to be personal I’m not a big fan of Japanese coffee, it’s too sweet and strong to me but I’m still rating a 5/5 because the atmosphere is so nice that I never been to this kind of old traditional woody coffee shop before. The service is nice, they can speak simple English which makes both of us easy. As a tourist exploring coffee shops like this is always interesting and fun seeing life of locals and trying new stuff, will def come again. Also this coffee shop is near to the airport, recommend coming for a visit before going to the centre town. It’s also located in the local living area so there so much hidden gems around Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We visited on a Saturday morning before 10am, and got seated after waiting 5 minutes. You are given 90 minutes to stay inside the place from the time of ordering We had a morning set which was an additional +¥100 on top of the price of the drink. Other than one lady who seemed to hurry your up when you talk to her, speaking while you are still in the middle of your sentence, and acts very coldly, everyone else was very hospitable. The place feels good even if you’re visiting alone. And contrary to how many similar looking Japanese cafes like this are, this place does not allow smoking inside. Only cash payments, and no credit cards or digital payments accepted. Meal type: Breakfast Food: 5 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 5
