The Coliseum used to be the place to go to for authentic Hainanese chicken chop and other delicacies. Unfortunately the taste and quality of the chicken chop is not up to par as years ago. The taste now is more like KFC. Previously, mushroom sauce was served, now it is tomato sauce. I suppose the ones preparing the chicken chop at present did not get the ingredients right like before. Other items on the menu appear nice but the taste is left to be seen. Meal type: Lunch Price per person: RM 20–40 Food: 3 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: If you are a vegan don’t come here. Dietary restrictions: Pure vegans may not fancy this place.

It’s rare to stumble upon a gem like this in Malaysia nowadays - a true old-school cafe that feels like a step back in time. The atmosphere is nostalgic, but the food is modern excellence. The Wagyu beef was a standout, executed perfectly at medium-rare with that melt-in-your-mouth texture you hope for. Surprisingly, their Mee Mamak was equally impressive, packed with authentic flavor and a great "wok hei." They also offer a very solid drinks selection to round out the meal. What truly sets this place apart, however, is the hospitality. The service crew is incredibly attentive and genuinely friendly, making the entire dining experience feel personal. Had a lovely dining experience at Coliseum Cafe & Grill Room @ The Gardens Mall. The atmosphere feels classic and comforting — a nice place to slow down and enjoy a proper meal away from the mall crowd. The food was satisfying and nicely prepared, especially the grilled dishes which were flavourful and hearty. Portions were generous, making it great for sharing with family. Service was friendly and attentive, which made the whole experience even more pleasant. It’s always nice when the staff serve with warmth and sincerity.
