If you’re looking for a traditional, quaint coffee shop, The Colonial Coffee Shop on Rt 9 N in Howell is the place to go. Family run and operated, it is a throwback to yesteryear where you get personal service and home cooked breakfast or lunch. No frills atmosphere with fair prices. (Across Route 9 from Shoprite going north) Oh, and the coffee was perfect! Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

My wife and I just happened to stumble on this place through a Google search looking for a place for breakfast. And we're both very glad we did. WOW! From the minute we walked in we were greeted with a friendly and welcoming smile. And it only got better from there. I got pancakes and eggs with a side of home fries and corned beef hash and my wife get french toast with eggs home fries and sausage. All of the food was fantastic and great portion sizes. The service was outstanding and we were treated very well. I absolutely recommend this place if you're looking for a friendly welcoming environment with great food and service. We will definitely be going back again!!!
