Absolutely wonderful. Had the farmers breakfast and it was delicious. Literally could not suggest anything. Cleaned the plate completely and was not overly full or underfed. Will definitely come back! Meal type: Breakfast Price per person: $10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

While their normal menu wasn't available during my visit, I came at the perfect time when they were celebrating National Mashed Potato Day! The special menu for the day was all about one thing potatoes I decided to try their potato pancakes, and let me just say they were to die for! So soft, fluffy, and full of flavor. Easily one of the best I've had! I paired them with a Banana Nut Iced Latte, which was the perfect finishing touch smooth, nutty, and just the right amount of sweetness The Colorful Plate Cafe is such a fun little spot that focuses on locally sourced, farm-fresh ingredients, tying right into the mission of the Food + Farm Exploration Center – to teach people about where our food comes from and the importance of Wisconsin agriculture ‍ It was such a great way to kick off the day.
