This is one of my favorite breakfast spots and favorite places to meet with friends! The vibes are immaculate, coffee is great with new fun flavored drinks for every season, and tons of baked goods, toasts, and sandwiches to choose from. I personally loveeee the breakfast crunch toast; it's loaded so high with toppings you'll have a second meal on your plate after you finish the toast. The outdoor seating in the grass is super convenient as I can bring my dog. They also sell mugs, shirts+hoodies, and used books, and have a book club that meets there every month! Love love love this place. I'd love to see more community-centered cafes like this in Ruston in the future. Only downside is how popular this place is- on busy mornings you may have some trouble finding parking or seating, but this is never too bad and if you're willing to sit outside there'll almost always be a couple chairs open. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: $10–20

I 1000% recommend coming here! The coffee and food are amazing and service is incredible. The vibes when you walk in are so uplifting. My day always starts better when I start it with Common Goods

Common Goods Co. has great coffee, super friendly staff, incredible baked goods, and many vegan options. It’s a cozy place with a great atmosphere. The location is convenient because it’s right off the interstate and it leads directly to the heart of downtown, if you go South from the exit. There’s plenty of seats, so it’s the perfect coffee shop for a college town!
