There were 4 of us this evening + a child for whom they very kindly installed a high chair. I highly recommend the gluten-free pizza, celiacs know well that it's not easy to find good dough but here it is! The pizzas in general are very good, perfect combinations and good, light dough but what we really appreciated was the kindness of the staff, definitely the added value to the quality of this place. SHOCK PROOF PIZZA... ANAPHYLACTIC!!! When Conté opened I immediately wanted to try their pizza, which in terms of raw materials, dough and combinations, has never disappointed me, as has the service, staff always attentive in reading the list of my allergies... that was until last night! 8.45pm: I start calling to order pizzas, the phone rings endlessly but no one deigns to answer! 9.00 pm: my partner goes there to order the pizzas and shows them both the list of pizzas and the list of all the foods I'm allergic to! Pick-up time is 9.30pm 9.30pm: he goes to the pizzeria again to collect it, but there's nothing to wait for a while... and this "a while" lasts almost an hour! 10.20pm: finally the pizzas are delivered to my partner who rushes them home, eeeee...surprise! The pizza of the week (this time includes: white base with fiordilatte, pork cheek, fresh ovoli from the Gargano, Grana Padano and rocket, and at my request additional ALMOND GRAIN) had lost the rocket along the way and had instead of almonds the nuts, a food that would have sent me to the hospital if not directly to the cemetery!!!!! Luckily for me the walnuts were intact and clearly visible otherwise I could have easily confused them with chopped almonds and I don't even want to think about what could have happened!!! Obviously someone else ate my pizza and I had to settle, but certainly after last night, they lost all the respect they had earned. YOU ARE NOT JOKING WITH ALLERGIES, YOU RESTAURANTERS HAVE THE RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE LIVES OF ALLERGIC SUBJECTS, ALWAYS REMEMBER THIS!!! I attach photos below as proof.
