Visiting from Dallas. Food is decent. Drinks are okay. Service is 2 out of 5. Servers lack proper soft skills and customer service. Go elsewhere if you look like me... Servers seem miserable. Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 3

We had a med school graduation dinner here for 6. Our server was very helpful and efficient. The drinks were good, though a little overpriced. The meals were served hot and fresh, though 2 were not prepared correctly and a side was missed. It was a busy night and that likely contributed to the errors. Not sure if I would return. Price per person: $40–50 Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4

I recently dined at Condesa in Rittenhouse Square to celebrate my wife's birthday, and it was one of the best restaurant experiences I've had in Philly. From the moment we walked in, the vibe was vibrant yet sophisticated—beautiful decor inspired by Mexico City, with that perfect mix of energy and comfort in the heart of the city. The food was outstanding. We started with the fresh guacamole and house-made salsas, which were bursting with flavor, then moved on to tacos featuring their incredible heirloom corn tortillas (they mill it themselves—such attention to detail!). The carnitas were tender and perfectly seasoned, and the cocktails (especially the mezcal-based ones) were creative and spot-on. Everything felt elevated without being pretentious—true modern Mexican done right. But what really made the night unforgettable was the service. The entire staff was warm, knowledgeable, and genuinely attentive. They checked in at just the right moments, offered great recommendations, and made us feel welcome from start to finish.
