As a long time customer, I hate to report that the food quality has declined in the last 6 months or so, maybe due to new ownership? Fish tacos--were COLD, in fact the tortillas felt like they were right out of the fridge. Buffalo wings served with sauce on the side? THAT was new and unwelcome. Also seemingly more authoritarian management. We wanted to change tables from uncomfy hightop to standard table before ordering, mind you--and were told no. None of this is good news for a pub that was a neighborhood classic. Waitress was v good though. Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback—and for being a loyal customer over the years. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your recent visit didn’t live up to the standards you’ve come to expect from us. We were especially concerned to read your perception that our food quality has declined. Since taking over the establishment over a year ago, we’ve made significant investments in improving the quality of our ingredients and preparation. Our fish is delivered fresh daily, our beef and poultry are cut and marinated in-house, and we use fresh produce across our menu. While that doesn’t excuse your experience, it does make it clear that we missed the mark during your visit, and for that we sincerely apologize. What you described is not the experience we aim to provide. Fish tacos should never be served cold, and we regret falling short of our quality standards during your visit. We also appreciate your note about the wings and how they were served—your feedback is important, and we’re reviewing this with our kitchen team. We’re especially concerned to hear that you weren’t accommodated when you requested a different table. That’s not something we condone. We always strive to make every guest feel comfortable and to ensure they have a great experience from the moment they walk in. We’ll be addressing this with our team so we can do better moving forward. That said, we’re very glad to hear your server took good care of you, and we’ll be sure to pass along your kind words. We truly value your history with us and would love the opportunity to make this right. If you’re open to it, please reach out to us directly or stop by again and ask for Rich, as we’d appreciate the chance to provide you with the experience you remember and expect. Thank you again for your honest feedback. We hope to welcome you back soon.

I work close by to Conley’s and have gotten takeout from there 5+ times. The food and service are decent when I go to pickup. A few instances have occurred with my last orders that will probably lead to me not ordering from here again. I got the sliders two months ago and they were very well done to the point that they were inedible. I typically get the chicken Caesar wrap with mashed potatoes and most times, everything tastes good! This most recent order, the lettuce in the wrap was not great and, to be honest, the mashed potatoes were the worst I’ve tried in my life. They were so sour that I worried one of the ingredients had gone bad. I took one bite and said nope! I also find the layout of the restaurant a bit confusing. For takeout orders, I’ve always entered in the farthest door to the right and my food has been right there, ready to be picked up. When I went in most recently, I waited in that same area and an employee rudely told me that I had to go to the main bar to pick up my food. The man at the bar was super friendly but it does seem a bit confusing about where to go. I’d love to love this place but the quality of the food is inconsistent. Maybe would feel differently if I went as a patron instead! Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $10–20 Food: 2 Service: 2

Thanks for giving us multiple chances and for taking the time to share such detailed feedback—we really appreciate it. I’m glad to hear that your past takeout experiences and service have generally been positive, but I’m sorry to learn about the inconsistencies you’ve recently encountered. What you described with the sliders being overcooked and especially the mashed potatoes tasting sour is definitely not the experience we aim to provide. That’s concerning, and we’ll be sure to share this with our kitchen team so it can be addressed right away. We also appreciate you pointing out the confusion around the takeout pickup area. That’s helpful feedback, and we’ll work on making the process clearer so guests don’t have to guess where to go. I’m sorry to hear that one of your interactions felt rude—that’s not the level of hospitality we strive for. We truly value your support and would love the opportunity to provide you with a better, more consistent experience in the future—whether it’s takeout or dining in. If you’re open to it, please consider reaching out to us directly so we can make this right. Thanks, Rich
