Randomly decided to enter this very adult-looking bar and had the night of my life, one of the highlights of my trip so far. I'm a foreign solo traveller, so after a bit of explaining I was warmly introduced to the rest of the regular patrons at the bar. It really lives up to its name. For hours I was happily answering questions as the owner, Yoriko-san, and her regulars asked me about what I was doing here while wonderfully trying their best to summon all the English they could muster while I responded in broken Japanese. The atmosphere is cozy, the food is hot and homely, and though they told me that the bar is the scariest place in Kobe, I thought it was the warmest place I've been in Kansai.
