I popped into this country pub recently and honestly loved it. James, the owner, is one of the friendliest blokes you’ll meet – he made me feel welcome straight away. The Guinness was absolutely spot on, one of the nicest pints I’ve had in a long time. I ended up staying longer than planned, sitting by the fire. Just a really cosy, relaxed atmosphere and always sports on the TV. It’s the kind of place you look forward to going back to. Price per person: €10–20 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
