I had a wonderful stay at Consort Hotel. The rooms were spacious, very clean, and extremely comfortable. Housekeeping did an excellent job every day, keeping everything spotless and fresh. All the amenities were available and well-maintained, which made the stay even more convenient and relaxing. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel was warm and welcoming. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and pleasant stay. Upon our arrival the receptionist said we had no breakfast included within our stay which was factually incorrect. I was told that Agoda often mess up and the information they receive never matches up with there systems??? I was asked if he could see my phone and if he could take a screenshot and said he would need to follow this up. I was told 10 minutes later he would allow us to have breakfast even though we already paid for it. We had on large bath towel and some rather small towels which were totally inadequate between myself , husband and two 4 year old toddlers. When we entered our room all the windows were open and all the radiators were on fully. The main room had no knobs to turn the radiator up and down . A friend of the owner turned up to help but the fittings he supplied were incorrect so adjusted the radiator with a pair of pliers to the off position which meant we could not adjust the radiators at all during our stay even if we wanted too. 4. The TV had a remote control which was not the correct one and another one didn't arrive before our departure. 5. The bathroom had damage to the panels with jagged edges which were a major health and safety concern and made us very anxious especially with our young children. 6. The towel radiators had exposed wiring which was another health and safety concern. 7. The shower screen had a large gap at the bottom so water could escape and saturate the tiled floor. MY SON ACTUALLY SLIPPED ON THE SERVICE AND BECAME DISTRESSED BUT WAS FORTUNATELY OK. 8. The bathroom fan was clogged up with dirt and cobwebs were seen on the ceiling 9. The room had lots of unfinished work and poor quality workmanship throughout 10. On our last day I decided to check the mattresses on the beds and were laden with sweat and urine stains which was very distressing. I COMMUNICATED OUR CONCERNS WITH STAFF BUT LITTLE TO NO INTEREST IN RESOLVING ANY ISSUES. WITHIN OUR BOOKING WE HAD ALREADY PAID FOR BREAKFAST BUT AS OUR STAY WAS SO DISAPPOINTING AND THE CONDITIONS WERE PUTRID, WE HAD NO CONFIDENCE IN GOING DOWN SO LOST OUT BY GOING FOR BREAKFAST ELSEWHERE OUTSIDE THE HOTEL. I am loving the stay at the consort hotel sorry about the spelling the staff are amazing if you need anything they do the best to help the owner brilliant very helpful and understanding Manager's are also amazing they gone above and beyond breakfast can't fault anything about this hotel momi she helped me when I thought my puppy was poorly she came and helped me I would recommend staying here and definitely recommend wedding and over party function and bring your four legged friend
