Cooee service is exceptional! Such friendly thoughtful stuff! The food was excellent, the view of the river and Perth city from the restaurant were beautiful! The restaurant offered us blankets as we were seated in the outdoor area and the cold breeze from the river was intense. I cannot recommend this restaurant enough Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$120–140 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5

We had a great time at Cooee. The business lunch special was great value. The food was wonderful. We mentioned a special day in the booking and Cooee had a card on the table acknowledging the special day. The salad was wonderful, the chips crisp but a little too salty for me. They were cooked well. The cheesecake was to die for. So creamy and the crust was outstanding. The meal included a house wine, red or white, or beer or soft drink. We ordered a bottle of lovely Rosé which was from Geographe Bay. Two of our four did not have the free wine and so the Manager offered us tea or coffee instead. I thought good, what a lovely touch. They showed a little flexibility. Refreshing. But no, it was not made clear that we would have to pay for it - we were given the impression it was instead of the wine. The tea was $6 and coffee $5.80. I expect a house wine would be at least $10 so why charge for tea and coffee?? I really thought it was an offer in good faith. Why say would you like a tea or coffee instead if it’s not instead? This was beautifully acknowledged, rectified and apologised for as this was an error and not a grab for cash at our expense. Thank you Maelys for your generous response. Robin Meal type: Lunch Price per person: A$100–120 Food: 5 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 5 Vegetarian options: One out of three choices. Hi Robin,Thank you for your lovely review, it was an absolute pleasure looking after you all! I'm really glad you enjoyed your lunch at Cooee.I appreciate you mentioning the tea and coffee, that one is on me. I genuinely meant it as a replacement for the wine, but missed taking if off your bill afterwards, which is not the experience we want you to have.I've organized a little something to be sent your way via your booking email, as I'd love to have you back and make it up to you properly, hopefully with another slice of cheesecake involved.Thank you again for your kind words and for spending your special day with us. Hope to see you again soon!Kind Regards,Maelys
