Disappointing experience two times in a row. The late-night drive-thru (after 10 PM) completely got my order wrong on two separate visits. It wasn't just a small mistake; it was an entirely different order, and they completely missed the sauces and Cajun seasoning. Definitely check your food before driving off, or just skip this location at night. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $10–20 Food: 3 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1

I hate doing this but this place has really fallen off from where it once was… you used to be able to roll in to any cookout and get killer service and very fresh tasting well made food. Now it’s half blended shakes, quesadillas with no chicken or beef, under done fries and the saddest excuse for an onion ring ever. Doubt we’ll be back any time soon…. I had a great experience at Cook Out in Wake Forest, and Wes is a big reason why. He’s easily the best employee there—super fast, gets orders right every time, and still manages to be friendly even during busy hours. You can tell he actually cares about doing a good job and making sure customers have a good experience. It’s rare to see that kind of consistency and attitude, especially since he's so young. If you stop by, hope you get Wes—he makes the whole place better. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
