What an amazing find in Athens!!! We absolutely stuffed ourselves, yet somehow left feeling light, which says everything about the quality of the food. Everything was incredibly fresh, natural, and full of flavor. You can really tell they don’t rely on fried food, and it makes such a big difference, both in the taste and in how you feel afterwards. But what truly makes Cookaki special is the people. The chef is an absolute gem. He takes the time to explain every dish with so much passion and love that you can’t help but admire him. You can see how much he cares about what he does, and that passion comes through in every bite. We didn’t feel like just customers, we felt like part of the family. It was one of those dining experiences you’ll always remember and happily recommend to everyone. We truly wish the whole team all the success in the world. This place is absolutely amazing!!!!! My husband and I visited twice, and if we had discovered it sooner, we would have definitely gone more often. The food is incredibly fresh, and the chef, Marios takes great care in preparing each dish. We tried a few different options, and they were all delicious. Marios was incredibly kind and friendly. He took the time to explain everything to us and ensured that we were both satisfied and comfortable. It’s the best food we had an Athens and I would highly recommend!!!
