Participated in their 'Cajun inspired" dinner this last Saturday.  (also celebrating my husbands birthday).  My initial contact with the studio and subsequent communications were excellent.  Sheila replied quickly and professionally.  After I mentioned the birthday celebration, she asked about a cake; whether I would be bringing one or did we want them to provide.  We went with the Studio cake and honestly have not yet had it due to the size and being quite full from dinner the night of the event.  We're planning to bring it to another event tomorrow, so more on the cake later. We arrived promptly at 6pm and were seated immediately.  While the dining/kitchen area was quite pretty and decorated nicely, the tables were very close together.  A wine list was on the table and we chose the red mix and found it very satisfying.  Upon seating, we found a small bread plate with 2 slices of bread and a slab of butter with black salt.  The bread was very fresh and the butter with salt was a great acommpaniant.  A small spring salad (with fabulous strawberries) and a tiny sample of soup came along after the bread plate was removed.  Very good and the size appeared small but turned out to be quite appropriate.  The next course was introduced as a risotto dish, but actually appeared to be more of a crustless quiche.  It was piping hot and very good but heavily salted.  (not sure why the server said it was risotto, it was not).  The main dish was pork tenderoin slices on a bed of risotto.  The pork was cooked perfectly, however the risotto was also very heavily salted.  It was good and was a generous portion.  The meal ended with a bread pudding that was very good.  Nice temperature and portion was perfect.  Overall a very nice evening, but not sure why they referred to it as Cajun inspiried ?  One additional suggestion is for the venue to offer a printed menu of the courses being served.   We look forward to trying their weekday lunch options.  Thank you for a pleasant evening.

This place is the best food in the area! The service is fantastic and the dishes are unique and amazing! We went for a valentines dinner event. We had several apppetizers, including a goat cheese and beet spread. My husband is the pickiest of eaters and he ate this and everything else up!! Menu changes with each event but this is the second time I have been and every single thing was out of this world delicious. My favorite is their fresh baked bread and pot de creme dessert. So so good!!
