It's 5 starts relative to fast food, but that's not talking down to it. Go get yourself the barbeque tray with slaw and hot sauce. Rotate your sides around to try everything out, but getting a corn dog as a side is a must. Don't sleep on the Cheerwine float either. Thank me later. We have been to a LOT of cookouts throughout the south, and this is HANDS DOWN, the BEST cookout we have ever been to. They are the most polite and professional workers. The food matched the same experience. This is the best cookout experience, period. If we could give a fast food restaurant a Michelin star, this place deserves 3 (out of 3). We tried Cook Out in Glen Allen for the first time, and overall it was a good experience. The service was great — everyone was helpful and made the visit enjoyable. The food was good, although I was honestly expecting it to be a little better, but the service really made up for it and made the experience great. Definitely a place worth trying.
