Breakfast is what this place does best. Lunch and dinner can leave a lot to be desired and cause sticker shock at the register. We regularly drove past this place to go to other restaurants we like a lot better. Meal type: Breakfast Food: 3 Service: 3 Atmosphere: 4

Cook's Spice Rack & Chili on North Grand: A Must-Try! I just had to share my thoughts on Cook's Spice Rack & Chili on North Grand in Springfield, Illinois. What an absolutely amazing find! I stopped in and grabbed some of their vegetable beef soup, and I was seriously amazed—that soup was the best! It was so good, I cleaned the dish completely. Beyond the incredible food, the place has such a clean atmosphere, which I really appreciate. The employees are friendly and welcoming, and the owner is amazing. You can tell they put a lot of care into what they do. I truly recommend this place to anybody looking for great food and a welcoming spot. Go check it out!
