We take washroom cleanliness seriously as we know it can ruin a guests experience. Unfortunately there are occasions when our regular washroom checks are not in time to correct "human error". I am sorry our washrooms were not up to our standard when you visited. I do hope you informed your server so that we could correct this right away. Having said this I would encourage you to contact me at corasunridge@gmail.com to help me better understand, address & resolve the concern you shared Regards Chris More

I am not sure if you have been made aware of a very costly and unfortunate incident that happened in your Cora's restaurant (Sunridge location) today around noon. I ended up literally wearing a cup of coffee with cream in it. I received a very insincere apology from Jasmine and a cloth to try and sop up the coffee and cream from my sweater, Ugg boots and my saturated pants. I was covered, as Jasmine attempted to remove my girlfriends dishes upon her completing her meal. When the cup was tipped over it was tipped directly towards myself and sent the coffee and cream flying. It was only lukewarm thank heavens but more than three quarters full. In any case I was drenched.
Jasmine came back with our bill saying she took my meal off. So, my girlfriend paid the remainder, including the coffee I wore. This will be included in my list of expenses below as this incident affected both of us trying to enjoy our birthday celebrations like we have done for years.
I made a comment, I didn't know the best way to deal with the staining we could see happening. That is when Jasmine said she would personally pay for the dry cleaning(nice gesture )but her tone was very disturbing and it's more than drycleaning, as I was not prepared to continue wearing wet clothes smelling like coffee. In fact , no other errands were done as I needed to get home 1.75 hours away(Lacombe Ab.) to try and ensure the least amount of damage to my sweater and boots.
When I asked to speak to a manager, The girl that came to the table(sorry, I did not catch the name of the person I was speaking with) was no better, again another insincere apology. She was not concerned at all that I would be going outside in wet clothes in January. Nor do I think she was a supervisor ( I held a supervisor position in a restaurant many years ago before I became a Bookkeeper) A good supervisor would not have handled this matter this way!!!!!
She said you were not available and gave me your card.
Above is the email I sent to Chris Howard
He has responded to the email but only to what he wants. I didn’t think to take pictures of my sweater and boots before dropping them at the dry cleaners as I was upset over the incident an incident that Chris referred to as a minor incident!!!!
I feel fair compensation is at least cover the dry cleaning( they have agreed to that) but should also pay for the outfit I was forced to purchase as this happened in January and it was cold and wet clothes and cold is unhealthy. Chris has declined to pay for the outfit purchased or even the coffee I wore that I paid for.
I since see there are alot of unhappy people going to this Cora location so people save your money go to a real restaurant where staff will be happy to severe you in a pleasant manner.
I am considering speaking with a lawyer or going through small claims court for reimbursement as my boots are now 2 toned because of having to get the coffee stains out of them.
