Cori Pastificio Trattoria was amazing! To start off: 1) Arancini (3/5) - there were 3 pieces. Didn't love it and the sauce was not that strong and flavourful. 2) Escargots (4/5) - Really enjoyed this and the tomatoes in it were really sweet 3) Focaccia (4/5) - the bread was so fluffy! and went so well with the eggplant caponata. we also dipped the bread into the escargot sauce. Mains: 1) Ravioli (4/5) - the sauce was a little bit salty but everything meshed so well together with the butternut squash and duck confit 2) Ditalini (5/5) - this was the highlight for me. the lobster and tomato broth was light and something I could drink everyday. the Ditalini was al dente and there were lots of seafood Dessert: 1) Tiramisu (5/5) - I was so full by the end of the mains but was so happy I ordered tiramisu. it was so good and rich. my belly always has room for this dessert! Service was great. One thing I personally appreciated was them telling us the price of the Items of the Day. I find a lot of restaurants would tell you the Item of the Day and not tell you the price leading to you having to awkwardly ask. They recommended that we ordered the focaccia and made sure that they clarified the price before we ordered!
