What a wonderful little café/Coffee Shop we went in for coffee. I got a Americana. My wife got a Fredo espresso, and both were very good. The owner‘s wife makes homemade bagels daily so we plan to go back and have that. Will give you an update when that’s complete. and they are a lovely couple filled with information about the island to help navigate your stay ok today was the day for us to try the food and I must say it was outstanding. The pancakes are just like mama used to make and wonderful maple syrup. My wife’s bagel was next level New York style good and again the owners are such a delight. and as you can see, I couldn’t wait to dig into my pancakes. That’s why the picture shows them half eaten. and the man with his hand in front of his face is Giannis. He’s a super delightful young man and evidently a local basketball star. I loved the Corner Cafe. The staff were really friendly (we had nice morning chats) and were very accommodating with my meal preferences, the coffee and the food were great, and I ended up eating there every morning (omelette and delicious pancakes for the family!). It has a very nice relaxed and zen atmosphere, and that’s also reflected in the cool, relaxed music they play. I would always look forward to going there in the morning, will miss it, but will go there again when I’m next in Syros. Meal type: Brunch Price per person: €10–15 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
