Here’s a polished version suitable for a Google or TripAdvisor review: We were staying at the hotel next door and stopped in for a quick breakfast before catching our bus. I ordered Menu #3 and requested that the eggs be scrambled with cheese. Instead, the meal came out with over-easy eggs. When I pointed out the mistake, they simply took the same eggs back, recooked them, and scrambled them. They still forgot to add the cheese. It wasn’t a huge issue, but it wasn’t what I ordered. I also ordered an Aperol Spritz, which she said was $12 extra for two. But was charged $18. and unfortunately there was a fruit fly in one of the drinks. To top it off, I asked for jam or jelly for my toast and was told they didn’t have any. Overall, the service was friendly enough, but the attention to detail and food quality left a lot to be desired. I was hoping for a quick, enjoyable breakfast, but the experience was disappointing. We went to Corsetti for our first breakfast in Rome because it was just next to our hotel. There you can enjoy a variety of savoury and sweet pastries, the staff were kind and friendly, and the prices were the standard for Rome. Price per person: €10–20 Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
