Enjoy Praca Saturnino de Brito by default, the guests' piece of advice is to visit this restaurant as well. Costa Dourada specializes in Chinese and Japanese cuisines. The recipe for success of this place is its perfectly cooked monkfish, ceviche and sashimi. Do not go away without tasting good japonesas, fruitcake and petit gâteau. I've been going to Costa Dourada for a long time and I've never had a problem like today, which makes me very upset, as I really like the place. I completely understand the situation: Christmas holidays, one of the few places open in the city, a lot of people there and a lot of demand, however, what happened was very unpleasant. We arrived around 9pm, waited a few minutes for the table and around 9:30pm/40pm we ordered two sequences. The starters came very quickly, well presented and delicious as always. It turns out that the combinations for the sequence only came to the table at 10:55 pm, more than an hour after ordering and after my boyfriend complained about the delay to an attendant. After the complaint, the combinations appeared in a matter of 5 minutes. It really looked like the dishes had been assembled a long time ago and had just not been delivered. The order arrived at 10:55 pm and we were told that if we wanted to order anything else, we would have to place the order at that time as the kitchen would close. There was no way of knowing if we would order anything more, the food had just arrived. In the end there was still some confusion with the desserts. My boyfriend was having his birthday and the attendant said he would forward the order for a complimentary petit gateau. At 11pm we ordered dessert, just because the price was included. We ordered a petit gateau and a mousse. After about 15 minutes, a petit gateau arrived on the table. We understood that it would be the dessert of the sequence and the mousse had not arrived. When paying, we informed the girl that a dessert had not been delivered. She promptly discounted the price, which we thought was really cool. We paid and an attendant arrived to inform us that the desserts would be delivered at that time (?). The petit gateau that had come before would be complimentary for the birthday, but this was not announced when it was delivered to the table. In the end we didn't eat any of the desserts in the sequence. At no point were we treated badly by the attendants, not even at the reception or when paying, but it was a very bad experience due to the confusion, lack of communication and delay in the order, which seemed to have been forgotten in a corner and we had to complain to get it to the table. . Anyway, we ended up having a huge disappointment, on a birthday celebration day and I will think several times before choosing the place to go again.
