Anybody who wants to taste authentic food from south India. This place is a must go. Absolute gem of a place for south Indian thali. My soul landed in Bengaluru(city in Karnataka) the moment I taste tea and it stayed there for a while after I left this place with a tummy full of authentic south Indian meal. What a discipline in his cooking! He surely put his heart and work into building this place and cooking this thali. 1. Location seems inaccessible once u reach the building since its in the basement. Dont be scared to go and check 2. Open kitchens are not part of Indian style, but its kinda good to see the Japanese touch he gave to Indian restaurant. 3. Owner is kind and polite. Patiently explained the menu and special curry for the day. 4. Refreshments like masala chai, coffee are laid out on the table and we can help ourselves. That chai has my heart 5. He kept stainless steel tumblers, lunch plate and for chai. What better way to eat Indian food than this. 6. Detailed description paper with colors to match the food section in thali was laid out on table. 7. I took a full meal and the quantities were pretty generous unlike the places I have tried all over Japan even with higher prices than this place. 8. Prices are pretty reasonable for the quantity and the taste. 9. He made sure to use boiled rice from south India rather using basmati rice like other restaurants. Boiled rice is tastier and what makes south Indian food taste even better. 10. Add on rice was not charged. 11. He made enoki mushroom pickle which tasted as authentic as possible. His interest in trying to make pickles with different vegetables is amazing. 12. Every item on the plate tasted very very authentic. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
