Great little small town diner located in Georgetown, Ohio. It’s not gourmet, but it’s down home good. We were in town for a bluegrass festival at the Brown County Fairgrounds and caught a couple of meals at this restaurant. The restaurant is neat and clean, with tables and booths spaced nicely apart. We didn’t feel like we were sitting in a stranger’s lap at the next table— we truly dislike restaurants that have squeezed the tables in so tightly that it’s uncomfortable to even hold a conversation. The food…this morning it was “Uncle Earl’s French Toast,” which came with a side of bacon, sausage, or ham. Whoever Uncle Earl is, we want to thank him for this one. Delicious! Yesterday we opted for their hot ham & cheese hoagies with steak fries (forgot to snap a pic). The waitress recommended this one to us and she was spot on with her recommendation. Both meals were served hot and with a smile from their friendly staff. Pricing was very fair—in fact, much, much less than what we paid at a Cracker Barrel a week ago. Again, if you’re looking for a fancy, modern vibe, then this is not your place. If you’re looking for a great down home meal at a locally owned establishment (that is not a chain restaurant) with a terrific staff, then make your way to this establishment. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5 Price per person: $1–10 Parking space: Plenty of parking Parking options: Free of charge parking lot

I ordered breakfast and the hashbrowns were horrible tasting like they’ve been soaked in some 10 year-old grease or something. The toast also had a weird greasy substance on it. They were out of jelly except for apple, and the eggs I ordered scrambled were were just so so, and the bacon seemed to inherit the grease from the hashbrowns. They need to clean that grill or something. it was too gross to even take home to give my dogs. To end my wonderful meal, some rude customer cut me in line where I was waiting to pay my bill for about 20 minutes. He just walked up to the cashier on the other side of the line and waved his Bill around and he got served and I was screwed again. I don’t think I’ll ever eat at this place again.

We are disappointed to hear you had a bad experience today at our restaurant. We try our best to deliver our guests great good and service within our control. With thousands of people out of power in the area we served about three times the expected people the day of your visit. Based on your other breakfast reviews from other restaurants there seems to be something that consistently bothers you cooking on the grill. We will aim to give a better experience to our guests in the future

My honest opinion , they have the worst food in town without a doubt. That's right Mc Donald's food is better and I hate Mc Donald's, food is always burnt not to mention the small servings you get with your meal . For the record , my dog will eat anything and the food here made my dog puke . Don't waste your money people .
