Probably the best Jamaican food in LA, so good and was definitely not disappointed. I'll be back. The oxtail and jerk chicken was on point.

I recently got take-out from Country Style Jamaican Restaurant and overall, it was a great experience. Despite the lack of indoor seating, the restaurant provided fast service, and we were in and out in no time. We ordered three entrees - jerk chicken, oxtail stew, and fried chicken. While the fried chicken was confusing and not to my liking, the jerk chicken and oxtail stew was phenomenal. The jerk chicken had a perfect blend of spices and the meat was so tender it fell off the bone. The oxtail stew was savory and comforting - just what you need on a cold day. In addition to the entrees, we also got two beef patties and they were quite tasty. But the real star of the show was the potato salad - it was freaking delicious. Creamy, tangy, and just the right amount of potato crunch. Overall, I highly recommend Country Style Jamaican Restaurant, especially for their amazing jerk chicken, oxtail stew, and potato salad. While the fried chicken wasn't up to par, it didn't detract from the overall experience. With their fast service and great food, this is a spot you won't want to miss.
