A nice lady welcomed us with a smile. We got their specialty pan and it was great. Also got their melon pan which was the best we had in Japan so far. Looking forward to coming back. Asakusa specialty? Square Asakusa Anpan! 5 minutes walk from Asakusa Station, bakery's Visited "Courage". When I arrived around 18:00 on a weekday, the inside of the store was scattered. I was able to pay the bill immediately. I bought Asakusa Anpan (tsubu) for 300 yen. Asakusa Anpan has a fluffy dough The filling is not red bean butter but red bean paste and fresh cream. The bean butter is made on an iron plate, but it is made with red bean paste and fresh cream. The combination is also delicious! It's a large size so it's filling. It was delicious till the end.
