TO RUN AWAY! Not even arriving we notice a poster saying that there is not a certain thing (eg: piece of beef, chicken skewer etc...) This can obviously happen but when we enter to ask the waiter if he has any beef we says yes and the other no! The restaurant is empty, we are not worried WHAT A MISTAKE! Air conditioning too strong, it was around 12 degrees Drink order: the waiter comes to our table with blank eyes waiting for us to speak (no dialogue asking us what we want to drink, what we want for the dish or simple sentence that a waiter must pronounce) We therefore place our order alone, faced with an almost empty menu! I order a salad and a hot dish telling myself that it is not necessary for me to specify to bring the starter not at the same time as the hot dish OBVIOUS for my part! BUT The waiter brings my salad and my hot dish at the same time (so I had to choose between eating my hot dish cold or eating the salad after my hot dish). During the meal: no salt at the table (optional of course) but not wanting to upset the waiter we helped ourselves to the table next to us. End of the meal: a quarter of my cocktail glass left at 8.50e the waiter comes and takes it away without even paying attention to my desire to finish it or not, the same for my salad plate (takes it from me to steal it from the last butcher). Unstructured lemon tart: we're worried to see the thing! Nothing scary WOW!! But lemon is so sour that we shed a tear! Positive point the restaurant being as dead as the servers we laughed out loud without disturbing others. Having been a regular at Courtepaille for 20 years, I have just learned that they are on the verge of liquidation, hence problems with supplying suppliers (lack of visibility). Top staff, excellent value for money, warm atmosphere... This is the support they need, now is the time to go, even if the map is incomplete. Good luck.
