Mai Tiki Restaurant & Bar is pretty near Riverwalk. Make a change from your habitual meal and order good fried oysters, seared tuna and fillet steaks at this restaurant. It's nice to taste delicious beer. Some guests recommend great americano at Mai Tiki Restaurant & Bar.

The food was not good but we only ordered two appetizers, so this is based on that. The yellowtail tuna stack was fishy tasting, cut into large square chunks the size of a quarter or nickel (odd). It was a weird combination served on a puffed Mexican style fried bread with avocado spread (meant for a sandwich?). The edamame was burnt and really salty and over sauced with soy sauce, which should have been served on the side. I ordered their drink special of the evening, it was a frozen tiki style cocktail but it came out as a snow-cone in a martini glass. Another words, I couldn’t drink it and would have needed to request a spoon? I gave the drink a chance, waited for it to melt since it was 88 degrees out, ten minutes later it was in the same snow cone shape haha. I never send food or drinks back. But when we flagged down our server, I showed her my drink she brought me, and mentioned it is not a drink but instead a snow cone, she just looked at me and said what do you want me to do. I asked if she could blend it and fix it. She sent it back and re-served the blended drink. Unfortunately, it was not good, and should not have been the special for the evening. The service was very friendly, but not intuitive. Meaning the sweetest people but timing was off. Drinks were empty and we were not given the opportunity to put in another drink. But maybe that was for the best. Water is served in a cold bottle glass and left for the table, that’s a plus. We couldn’t eat the food unfortunately, and decided to leave to have dinner elsewhere. We paid and tipped well after barely touching our food. The bill was around $60 for two drinks and two appetizers. There’s not very many places to sit outside in the early evening without being blinded by the sunset. It makes it challenging to stay cool as well. Unfortunately between the food, drinks and atmosphere, we won’t be back. Meal type: Dinner Price per person: $30–40 Food: 2 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 2

"I just visited Mai Tiki Restaurant & Bar for the first time and I was blown away! I had the ribs and they were absolutely amazing—tender, perfectly glazed, and packed with flavor. The customer service was truly top-notch; the staff were incredibly friendly and made the whole experience even better. On top of that, the atmosphere is exactly what you want for a relaxing meal—very nice, laid-back, and has a great tropical vibe that makes you feel right at home. I’ll definitely be back!".
