Great food with hostile service! For the past 2 years my wife and I have had an ongoing issue with them NEVER allowing us to sit at a table for 4 when there are only 2 of us. The problem is, we get 3 plates and only 2 fit on their narrow two person tables. For a while we continued to go there every weekend, but we had been boycotting the place for the past 2 months because we would see other "regulars" sitting at a table for 4 even though they only had 2 in their party. Today was our last visit. We were seated by the owner and there were at least 4 empty tables of 4. When we asked if we could please be seated at a larger table, I explained that when our food arrives, we end up having to set one of our plates on the bench seat next to us. I told him, "I really don't like setting my plate down on a place where countless butts have been sitting." My wife chimed in with, "this is the only place were we have been refused a more comfortable table". He said, "Its Labor Day and we are expecting a rush". He finally relented and said, "we could sit you at a table for 4, but once our tables fill up, we will have to ask you to move back to a table for 2." When we repeated that no other restaurant in Corona has this policy, the said, "Then I suggest you leave and go to one of those places!" It's one thing to inform us of their policy, it's quite another to treat your customers with such obvious contempt and disrespect. Thanks to "Booth Nazi" ("No booth for you!), we will never go back.
