I got the meal to go and I ordered the outlaw and got a plain cheese burger that was cooked well done. It did not taste good and my elk chili didn't taste that great and the cheese wasn't even melted. Really disappointed. I was really excited to get a good Buffalo burger and the stew but they let me down. I wouldn't come back again

LOVED cowboy's lodge and grille. Went there for a meal and wished we had the appetite to eat the whole menu. We ordered the fire Mac n cheese with jalapeños and the pulled pork sliders and they were so delicious. Of course, we had to do the cowboy cooler which comes in a glass boot!!! How fun. If you like sangria, this is for you. The service was excellent, our waiter happily took our picture for us in the scenic western saloon style dining area and made great food recommendations. I liked the food so much that I ordered an extra pulled pork sandwich for lunch the next day and he kindly put an extra huckleberry sauce in the box which I had expressed interest in... it was AMAZING!!! If they sold it bottled I would have bought 20. All in all, one of my favorite stops of the trip. HIGHLY recommend. Can't wait to go back some day.
