A Perfect Sunday at Craft Market on Zeiss – A Hidden Gem in Honeydew! If you haven’t been to Craft Market on Zeiss yet, you’re missing out on one of Johannesburg’s best-kept secrets! Nestled in a lush garden setting, this farmers' market is pure magic. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted by lively vendors, the scent of fresh bread in the air, and the most adorable baby ducks wandering the grounds like tiny VIPs. The variety of stalls was incredible, fresh organic produce, homemade pickles, jams, artisan crafts, baked goods, and gourmet foods were all on display. One vendor even brought farm-fresh vegetables all the way from up North, and let me tell you, you can taste the difference. My wife used the pumpkin, butternut, and beetroot for our Sunday roast, and it was unlike anything we’ve ever had from a grocery store. Absolutely next level! We ordered some samoosas from a very friendly lady as we usually only eat light lunches, oh boy, were they simply amazing! But the highlight of our day? Simply Wicked Candles. We stepped into their shop and were instantly blown away by the sheer range and quality of their soy-fragranced candles and wax melts. I treated my wife to six unique scented candles along with some awesome wax melts too, and we both have to agree, they are the best we’ve ever bought in South Africa. My wife is a lifetime client now for sure. The craftsmanship, the scents, the presentation... Simply Wicked Candles are simply the best you can get. Craft Market on Zeiss isn’t just a market; it was an experience. Whether you’re shopping for the freshest farm produce, indulging in handmade goods, or just soaking in the peaceful garden atmosphere, this is the perfect way to spend a Sunday (I believe they are open every Saturday as well and the Sunday Market is every seond Sunday of the month. We’ll definitely be back for more! 10/10 – Highly recommend! Who else has been to this hidden gem?
