They serve good pares—tasty, but a bit pricey. The sisig was just okay. The pancit, however, had a generous serving and tasted great! Meal type: Dinner Price per person: ₱500–1,000 Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 4

I won't recommend Crisostomo Solenad to others. We ordered for lunch delivery yesterday, Jan 27, 2026, via Grab. We had adobo damaso and lumpiang hubad. Lumpiang hubad had a "maanta" taste. As in, we were not able to eat it. My daughter smelled it right away even before eating it. Even the adobo wasn't extraordinary in taste and presentation. It doesn't look enticing to eat. The meat didn't taste so fresh. Despite its small serving, we weren't able to finish it. It's something you won't crave for. We left after lunch and got back home late yesterday; so there was no time to call up. I was able to do it today, Jan 28. I talked to the manager. He was apologetic as all restaurant managers usually are. He offered to replace the lumpia but I refused because of fear that they would mishandle the food to get back at me for complaining. So I said I wanted a refund for the lumpiang hubad that wasn't eaten. Below is a picture of the leftover. It's unfortunate that I didn't think of taking pictures of our plates with the uneaten portions. The manager initially told me a refund couldn't be done since the order was made via Grab. But I said he got my order number and saw it in their system. So I asked why it couldn't be done when there was proof that I did order yesterday from their restaurant at 12:27PM (as confirmed by him). But he said he would talk to the upper management about it and about my feedback. He said there would also be an investigation. So I'm expecting a call from him today. Let's see what's going to happen. UPDATE: So the manager of Crisostomo Solenad, Arjay Dagus, sent me an SMS saying that as much as they wanted to refund, they couldnt since it's on grab settlement. That's fine. But when he said all their food was newly delivered so the dispatched food was new, I thought that must really be the taste of their lumpiang hubad then. Maanta. No explanation. And the meat wasn't fresh. But it's new. I wonder how they define new food. NEVER AGAIN will we order or eat there. And when I have family or friends over, I won't recommend it at all. There are far better Pinoy restaurants anyway in Sta Rosa, much more in Tagaytay. Meal type: Lunch Food: 1
