If you're visiting Rome and looking for authentic Roman cuisine, I highly recommend Crispi 19 on Via Francesco Crispi. Although they're known for their incredible seafood, we couldn't resist trying two Roman classics: the Carbonara and the Cacio e Pepe. Both were absolutely authentic and full of rich, traditional Roman flavor. We paired our meal with a beautiful bottle of 2021 Monteiano wine from the Lazio region, and it was the perfect match. The service was fast, friendly, and full of personality. The staff kept us laughing, making the experience even more enjoyable. We sat outside on the patio with a refreshing breeze from the fans, which was a blessing on such a hot Roman day. The atmosphere was vibrant, with music playing, happy people all around, and fantastic energy. This was more than just a meal—it was a true Roman dining experience. We'll definitely be back.
