As been a resident in Spain for around 25 years we have and have been visiting this place for many years, we have seen owners change over time and believe it has again not to long back, we are not a weekly visitor, maybe once a month but we have gone there today to find a new printed menu and oh my has the prices changed recently, I meen every has jumped up by a large percentage and then they have the cheek to basically beg you to pay cash, so obviously the new owner is extremely greedy, so they put the prices up, for an example we would normally of had the cod and chips menu, this has gone up around €4 per person, €5 for a pint of beer and €4.50 for what is a very small glass of wine, I think the owner has forgotten that this is Spain, you can buy bottles of wine for less than the small glass of wine and the beer is expensive for the Costa del Sol, the service was shocking again today, so to sum it up they have put the prices up and are then trying to avoid themselves paying the taxes by asking for a proffered payment of cash, it’s a win win until you loose your regulars like you have with ourselves today. We wont be back, there are other places that other fish and chips etc at much lower prices, do a google search people. Food: 3 Service: 2 Atmosphere: 1 Price per person: €20–30 Parking space: Difficult to find parking Parking: Due to its location parking is a nightmare, especially during the summer months and holidays Wheelchair accessibility: On option for this is to sit outside and hope you can get some shade, winter months would be more or less impossible for people that couldn’t walk up the stairs

One of the best Cod and chips I ate in my 60 years. The crispy cod was absutly perfect . Coming to Fungerola for years, and this is the first time I had a meal in it. All 4 of us enjoyed it.When back in the autumn, we will be eating there again .Slainte. Food: 5 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 5
