I have ordered several times from here and it has always been good. Not great but good enough to order more than once. I ordered eggplant Parmesan, which I’ve never ordered before. The eggplant was very bready and not cooked well. It was limp and soggy. There was a VERY small amount of pasta sauce with the pasta and I was given four pieces of bread with no butter or oil for dipping. Overall, the dish was very dry and disappointing. I also ordered the Cristo’s pizza and there was at least 4 to 5 inches of crust with no toppings at all, very small amount of toppings and negligible amount of cheese. The description on the website and what I received did not match and failed to meet expectations. I would figure that this is a pizza place so they should be able to at least make a good pizza. I would not recommend spending the amount of money for either of these items. They could definitely do better with paying attention to detail and not trying to rip customers off by putting very little toppings on their pizza. I will not be going back..

Like many of my fellow New Yorkers, going to Cristo’s is like being home. The food and staff are very friendly and very good. Mikey, our waiter, was a delight.
